Tobermore Driveway Installation Overview
The Glasgow Paving Company installed a new Tobermore driveway for our clients in Hyndland, in the West End of Glasgow. This was a comprehensive driveway installation project, required to provide off-street parking in this busy street.
Our clients live close to the Gartnaval Hospital, meaning parking in their street is a daily fight. To ensure they have easy and safe access to their home, they required a new block paving driveway.
Tobermore Driveway Installation
For this project, we chose Tobermore Slate Tegula for the driveway, to complete the property and the surrounding street. For additional appeal, we installed a block-paved charcoal border for contrast.
To enhance access to and from the property, we also installed kerbstone steps in matching Tobermore paving.
Work Details To Enhance the Driveway
In addition to the main Tobermore driveway installation, our team also installed timber retainer sleepers along the sides of the property. The driveway was on a slope, and these retaining sleepers reduced the height to make it easier to access.
With these additional details, we expanded the driveway space to accommodate more cars and provide easier access for our clients, even when the street is congested with hospital traffic.
