Resin Patio Design
This was an interesting project for the team because we were requested to design and install a resin patio for the back garden. Resin is a popular outdoor surface, but it is more commonly used for driveways. However, the sleek appearance and permeable nature make it an excellent option for all kinds of outdoor spaces, as this project demonstrates.
Our clients wanted to transform their back garden into an all-weather space, and resin was the desired finish. We needed to install matching steps and a complete patio area, leading people down into the main garden area from the contemporary property.
To develop the main resin patio and steps, we used Daltex Resin Bound paving in Cornfield, which is a beautiful natural shade that provides a contrast to the cool-toned modern home.
Block Paving Borders And Edging
Once the main patio area was defined and the curved steps laid, we installed a contrasting border to finish the landscape. To contrast the warm neutral shade of the Daltex resin patio, we used block paving slabs from Stonemarket. The Trident Grey paving complements the colour scheme of this contemporary property in Cambuslang, while also providing a stunning contrast to the new patio area.
The border defined the unique curved shape of both the patio and steps, creating seamless flow throughout the landscape and tying it all together.
