Family Garden Design
Our clients, Chris and Laura, had a clear vision for their garden, which made the design process of this landscape makeover easier for our team. They wanted to create a space that is suitable for entertainment, relaxation, as well as offering a safe area for their young son to play. Our garden design aimed to fulfil these needs while also creating an aesthetically pleasing landscape.
Porcelain Patio Installation
The first phase of the garden design featured a raised porcelain patio, which was discreetly located behind the garage, making it a private environment for outdoor dining and entertaining.
The raised patio was installed using porcelain paving slabs to create an elegant appearance. The patio features bespoke brickwork, including a retaining wall and steps leading up to the dining area. For additional appeal and safety, we also installed a glass balustrade system.
Artificial Grass And Planting
Descending from the patio, artificial grass has been installed as the perfect play area for little ones. Artificial grass is an ideal solution for busy family homes because it provides the natural appearance and feel of real grass, but with none of the maintenance requirements.
We also installed raised porcelain planters with buxus balls and white marble chips across the parameters of the lawn. The porcelain matches the patio for a cohesive and seamless design to the garden and provides a beautiful contrast to the timber fencing.
Contemporary Fencing and Outdoor Lighting
The highlight of this landscaping makeover is the hardwood baton fencing, which has been installed using thin strips of Siberian larch. The meticulous placement of these strips, combined with striking up-and-down lighting throughout, aligns with the modern design of the entire garden.
As an additional adornment to the contemporary garden, artificial foliage screening with a neon sign has been installed vertically along the fence, where it is in direct view of the raised patio. This adds a sentimental touch to the garden and beautifully contrasts with the hardwood fencing for greater appeal.
Finished Results
